My 4 year old and husband enjoyed visiting during the Antique Tractor Show. Well designed and interesting.
Just saw this on the way to the Toltec Park and made a quick pit stop. We didn't go to all of the buildings, just the main museum. It is free admission for self guidance and very nice. There isn't a map to guide you through the other properties and we really didn't have the time to do it anyway. It definitely seems to minimize the aspect of slave labor that was used during the plantation era, only a small wall with the estimated numbers of slaves in the state. Mixed feelings about this one.
Go. Just go. Its free and way better than I imagined. Kids had hours of fun.
Really a good place to visit. Takes you back in the past. The staff are really knowlegable about what they show. When we were there we got to actually gin some cotton. Awesome place
Very nice place and staff. Very educational. Had a good time with our 3 small children.
